Ursa Minor is a constellation in the northern sky, the name of which means Smaller Bear in Latin. It is colloquially known as the Little Dipper because its seven brightest stars seem to form a ladle, or dipper shape. The star at the end of the dipper handle is Polaris, the North Star. If you stood at the north pole, Polaris would be almost directly overhead. If you can spot Polaris in the sky, you can always tell which way is north. In addition, the angle of Polaris above the horizon tells you your latitude on the Earth. Because of this, Polaris was the most important star for navigating at sea. (copy-pasted from wikipedia. hehe.. hirap kaya nyan!)

For me, this constellation has always been the symbol of our friendship connection in Christ. It all started in our hometown church at Muntinlupa where we bonded and became as close as one could possible be. Sis Jen formulated the acronym J3MARC (one of these days, I will ask her of the history) and that has become a "for better and for worse" tag. Wherever you are guys, we're not that far away. We're still under the same stars!

As I look back now, I'm so happy to have met these people who have somewhat molded me to be what I am now. For our Pastor Raffy and wife ate Let-let of NBP Bible-Centered Fellowship and to the Praise and Worship Team at that time with ate Becky. Thank you. It's been, like nine years now, but I am still applying the lessons all of you have taught me. I still write my Prayer Journal occasionally. :-)

my favorite books

Back in highschool, I had this particular... uhm... fondness(?) with the works of Christopher Pike, which real name is Kevin Christopher McFadden. Up to now, I still don't know anything about this writer.
Well, it was my cousin Ging who introduced me to the world of reading gory, mystery, supernatural, thriller, spine-chilling and the likes literatures - thanks to you cuz for the sleepless nights and wild imagination I now have, nevertheless - I love you! Anyway, I just want her to know that - and one more! I miss her, I always do kahit we're not that super connect now. Hehehe... we'll work on that someday. We should.
Back to my topic. I have surfed the net about him just recently but still nothing come out of him Well, I really haven't made an effort to reach or even write him a letter anyway so maybe that's why I never had an inkling about him - yeah, right! Maybe I should! asus, nano man ko man?! Question is, will he write back? The man's a millionaire with lots of grammars, punctuations, subjects, predicates, verbs, nouns, adverbs, adjectives, etc. going about in his head for another book. He might be busy. Hehehe... here I am talking to myself - because no one would talk to me - not even my beh because he don't know a thing about him or even interested in reading one.
If anyone can read this and know something about this writer, could you please prove his existence?! hehehe... joke!
Books I've read that of C. Pike's: bury me deep, die softly, eternal enemy, fall into darkness, gimme a kiss, the immortal, last act, the lost mind, monster, road to nowhere, scavenger's hunt, sati, see you later, spellbound, the star group, the starlight crystal, whisper of death, the wicked heart, witch, the final friends trilogy (courtesy of ewa, my busmate and classmate for a while) and finally, remember me and the midnight club as my favorites.
Actually, I've read these all so long ago and would like to read it all again to see if my preferences or what I think about his books change. I am now for Dean Koontz, Patricia Cornwell, Harlan Coben, uhm... I also read romantic novel like that of Danielle Steele and the likes.
Lastly, the book that everyone should read is the book of the Bible. Oh no, I don't want to sound so goody goody here or anything 'coz I'm not. Honestly, I've read the whole book the first time and just remember things like that of the stories of Moses, Joseph, David, Solomon, when Jesus was born and risen, and some important points I apply in my life. It really has interesting stories to tell and teach to all of us. God is the greatest author of all, anyway. He is the author of the whole wide universe. The author of our faith.
